Seeking Caregivers who:
- Retain a current Maryland state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- Possibly have other valid credentials such as: GNA, HHA, PCA, MT
- Are reliable, dependable, honest, and caring
- Possess effective communication skills
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and up to date auto insurance
- Are able to recognize and report changes in their clients care needs
- Possess a current CPR/First Aid certification
- Assisting the agency's clients with their personal care and ADL's in accordance with the care plan and CNA qualifications
- May be required to take clients to appointment or run errands
- Must complete 12 hours of company provided training per year
- Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility
- Perform duties with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client
- Must meet hiring criteria as defined in the agency's minimum standards
- Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an on-going basis, as well as honoring agency policies
- Must pass all background screenings with satisfactory results
- Able to work an average of 20-40 hours per week
- Able to lift 20-50 pounds
- Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 5 hours per day
- Able to use tools necessary for job
- Caregivers are not allowed to smoke in clients homes
- Flexible hours, full time work available
- Paid mileage reimbursement for client errands and appointments
